Hello Parents and Students,
We would like to make everyone aware of the expectation of the rules and guidelines associated with football games.
• High school students will have to show their student ID to enter any
MISD varsity football game at Vernon Newsom Stadium or RL
Anderson Stadium.
• Middle school students, 7th and 8th grades, must have their student
ID and must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• Backpacks are not allowed into the stadium, and the clear bag policy
will be enforced.
• Students are expected to be in the stands during the game. Loitering
on the concourse or around the concession/restroom area will not be
allowed and could result in removal from the game and future events.
• Students are expected to be picked up no later than 30 minutes
after the end of the game. Failure to pick up students within the 30
minute grace period may result in students being restricted from
attending future games.
• Vernon Newsom Stadium - Students will be held at gate 2 on the
home side and gate 3 on the visitor side after the game while waiting
to be picked up.
• RL Anderson Stadium - Students will be on the home side in front of
the ticket booth after the game while waiting to be picked up.
