We highly recommend you complete your student’s returning registration prior to the start of school.

You may access the returning student online registration by logging into Family

Personal Communication Device Policy

Due to the recent adoption of House Bill (HB) 1481, the use of personal wireless communication devices by students during instructional time is now prohibited. This includes but is not limited to cell phones, text messaging devices, laptop computers (e.g., Chromebooks), tablet computers, and smart watches. As you consider purchases for the new school year, keep in mind that students will not be allowed to use personal electronic devices during the school day.

Mansfield ISD is currently updating its policies, Student Handbook, and Student Code of Conduct to comply with the law. The district understands this legislation is likely to raise many questions among parents and staff, and MISD will provide more details in the coming weeks. Thank you for your patience as we evaluate all implications and compile answers for you.
