Library Information

The main purpose of the library at DJMS is to assist students with their academic progress and further their love of reading. The librarian is here to help you with whatever you may need. Please do not hesitate to ask.

The library is open before school, during lunch, and after school for meaningful, purposeful work and MakerSpace activities.

Computers in the library may be used by students before school, after school and at lunch. Students may also print homework and other assignments in the library for $.05 per page.

The library offers visitors assistance with technical support, online resources, ideas, etc.
Library personnel can assist visitors on how to check out e-books.

Book Checkout Policy

Students may check out books and materials for a period of three weeks from the day of checkout. At the time a library book is checked out, a "due date" is placed on the book. Students are responsible for returning books on time. If a student would like more time to read a book, he or she is welcome to renew the book for an additional three week period. The maximum checkout is 2 books, 2 ebooks, and 1 audio book.  Students will be reminded about any overdue books via email.  Students will be expected to pay for the replacement cost of lost or damaged books.

Access to search for books in the Danny Jones library may be done from the classroom, or home, by visiting Destiny Quest Discover.
